The first thing you need to do is make a copy of both the blank document (as shown in the example) and your PDF. This is a good place to make corrections if needed, to make sure that text is not too similar between what you have provided and what it will become on your screen after you download it.
You can do this with the new PDF Downloader feature of Word 2010.
After you have created a copy of your PDF, you still need to download all the pages on the document to the PC to edit them. This is done with the new PDF Settings feature of Word 2010, and is shown in the screenshot below. Click on the arrow that appears in the top right corner to launch the Settings window.
To navigate through settings, select the Pages tab (in the bottom left corner) and you will see a link to the Settings page that appears when you right-click on the file, or press the Ctrl key while you are on the File menu.
Open this Settings page and you will see the following option:
Now, if the document you want to download is on one side of your screen and you want to change the text on the other side of the screen to say “Hello World!”, you need to drag the file over to the other side of the screen. This is done by dragging the file to the right side of your screen, and then clicking on the Options button at the top of the screen.
Once you click on the Options option, the file is now moved to the other side of your screen and a new option appears. This is what the image below is showing.
When you click on Text option, this new option appears:
After you have chosen the text of the page to edit, you will be able to see the resulting edits on your screen.
Step Four: Downloading the Page Images:
Now that your PDF and page images are on the computer, you can start downloading them. The download progress bar that appears on the middle of the screen now has a ‘Save’ icon that can be used to initiate the download process.
To download the page images, click on the Download button at the top of the page, and you should see the following window:
