I was surprised, but I couldn’t put my finger on it, I was so focused on the future and the business – not the politics.

At the time, I knew nothing about the federal government either, but I knew that it was coming towards me. I had a feeling for a political movement.

The following years were the worst years for Tesla, he couldn’t get any work and lost most of his customers to gas guzzlers. His car company’s stock collapsed from $100,000 to 40 cents a share in three short years, and that was the big thing.

The stock price was the only thing that kept Tesla alive, and he could afford to stay out of the politics because the value of his car companies was tied to the price of Tesla stock.

As time went on he started to make his thoughts clear to me. It was a pretty clear statement that he had a vision for the future, and a plan for how to get it accomplished. I read over a half dozen of these statements and made up my mind that I believed him.

During this time, I started to look at the stock price and realized that he was doing very well. I began to follow him on Twitter and Facebook and read his articles as well, a new hobby.

My thoughts regarding him were: he was the best entrepreneur in my lifetime, he had a plan, he understood what his customers want, he was doing it right, and I was on his side. I was in.

By 2010 I had found my own path in my life, I started an organization called the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). With Tesla’s support and support of The Free Market, EPRI was born. Now, nearly three years later, we are the largest independent electric organization in the United States.

I started giving lectures around the world about all things Tesla, he has been able to influence people in a way that I have never seen before, by telling them that the government is not a benevolent force, as many would think.

As of this writing, I am a member of The Energy Network and have contributed nearly 40 articles here. In fact, in 2012 we had our first ever conference, a 10-day event with over 750 attendees. Tesla was the keynote speaker at that event, and in the next year alone, he had over 150 presentations.

He is very active in his own philanthropic organization, the Tesla Foundation. I have taken part of
