We have a number of different ways to rate your horse’s skill during the race season. We give a range of scores, ranging from 5 to 12 in each of the following areas: Stamina – Your horse will go to town for the win. Stamina scores are not used for determining wins or losses. Pace – Your horse can pace yourself along with a runner. Pace scores are used to determine a stallion’s pace. We give a score of 2 for a 1-meter horse and 1 for a horse that runs well for 20-25 meters along with a runner. We have a range of 1-9 in each of the following categories: Stray – Your horse has a habit of trying to chase its original track in the race. Stray scores can’t be used for winning or losing the race. Sprint – You have a good horse for short-track races. Sprint scores are not used for wins or losses. Hard to Touch – Your horse is a hard-charging stallion and/or a great mare. Hard to Touch scores are used for determining a top stallion. Hard to Touch scores are not used for wins or losses.
