The Top 25 Player Rankings of 2011: The Players Who Won the Most

With the top 25 positions of every Division II basketball game decided in late-January, and all the teams off until March 16, things have only gotten better in basketball this season. While there is a plethora of players making headlines this season, those on the lower rankings have been on a steady roll too. From Kentucky to North Carolina to North Carolina State, you can clearly see how top 25 ranking will determine who makes or breaks their respective teams. I believe this ranking will continue to come down through the NCAA Tournament and beyond.

10) Robert Williams at NC State: The NC State Wolfpack are headed to the Final Four. Since he is a sophomore, you can bet they are going to keep the ball rolling from there! NC State was the first program in the country to put a “Big 12-style” basketball program together and the Wolfpack are now 10-3 in league play. Even though some might not have heard this team’s name or know who they are, it is easy to see why they are playing like the first team to get to the Elite Eight, even without one of their three best players from last season.

9) Tony Bradley at NC Wilmington: Last season, Tony Bradley was one of the best freshman in America. He averaged 18-10 on the year and was the second leading scorer on NC State’s team. Bradley has had a slow start to his NCW game this season, but can he put it all together? If so, he would be a darkhorse as an NBA Draft pick.

8) Michael Carter-Williams at St. John’s: In my opinion, Michael is the best guard in the country right now. Every game he is playing, he is shooting better than 90%. He would fit perfectly in any NBA’s starting lineup and would certainly be on the radar of the NBA Draft. In college, he was consistently hitting the three, and averaging more rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots
