I mean, the most expensive food! I mean, you say the most expensive food you eat, so if it’s in a bunch of categories, which categories are you going to say the most expensive food is, is the ones that are the cheapest in the world? Which ones are the least expensive? Or which are the most expensive? I mean, there’s a bunch of categories out there like the most expensive fish, the most expensive meat, the cheapest water, but what about all the other stuff you might need? Like, how about the most expensive clothes you buy? What if you need to eat, but what will be in that? What do you think, if any of that was the most expensive of them?
I mean, you think about prices, and then you think about food for, like, 10 people, so what about 50? What if it’s 5 people? What’s the most expensive it is to buy all of the other stuff? What about, like, 5 things for a pack of cigarettes?
That makes sense, it’s the same with wine, and beer and all manner of alcohol. So this is a little bit like a metaphor for thinking about why we can’t do this and not do it and being stuck in what amounts to a dead end place.
You know, for example: if we just, say, go to a fancy restaurant, and everybody’s going to, you know, we’re going to sit in a booth, and there’s going to be 10 tables there and everyone’s going to get a table, and that’s all fine, it’s fine. I can go back to my booth somewhere else while you enjoy what your food has to be like and I don’t have to say anything and, y’know, you’re going to have a nice meal. And it sounds fine, but that’s just not how it works out.
Because there’s so many different things to eat and so many different ways to consume, and there is no “best” way of eating. Nobody’s trying to do that. The only way you know the best is if you are a chef. You can do it, but you have to do it at a particular time, a particular place, a particular restaurant, in a certain way, and in a particular place.
